About Me
My influences are everywhere … textures, sounds, paintings, memories and letters. I love juxtapositions of color and spontaneity and have learned to follow my instincts, especially when others are trying to convince me otherwise. Unexpected beauty can emerge behind the camera when I wander out of my comfort zone, take risks and display a willingness to embrace failure as an opportunity for growth. I live for today’s photographs and in anticipation of tomorrow’s. It’s only through taking hundreds of pictures, editing, re-editing and never giving up that I feel satisfied. My hope is that one day my work will be recognized by fellow artists and professionals as being fine art and journalistic imagery, instilling in others a desire to make the world a better place in which we live.
